A Rich, Diverse Learning Experience

LifePoint Academy offers a rich, diverse learning experience that engages students in hands-on, real-life learning every day. From Bible to Social Studies, Language Arts to Math, students are taught academic skills and how to apply them in their lives.

Literacy

Students learn language arts through a comprehensive approach which encourages inquiry, develops skills, and grows them into great writers, thinkers, and leaders.

Mathematics

Big Ideas math encourages innovative thinking, problem solving, and knowledge-based growth which leads to strategic mathematical thinkers.

Science

Students engage in hands-on learning in Science by Design where they explore different aspects of God’s creation.

Writing

Students are engaged in cross-curricular writing where they are encouraged to develop their writing skills in each subject.

Bible

Bible instruction is given at each grade level. Students participate in daily classroom worship, weekly chapels, and a yearly student-led week of prayer.

Social Studies

Social studies focus on textual evidence and hands-on experiences. Students learn through primary sources such as documents, music, and food.

Music

Students have opportunity to participate in music education through the various levels of choir.

Art

Students experience freedom of expression through creativity in the arts.

Physical Education

Students are involved in physical education classes and daily indoor and outdoor playtime with training and instruction on a wide array of sports.

Spanish

Learning another language expands the knowledge and world view of students.

Innovation & STREAM

Hands-on, application-based, interdisciplinary STREAM learning (science, technology, art, and math) that gives students real-world problem-solving experience.

Culture 360

Through Johns Hopkins Culture 360, strong school culture encourages positive academic and civic outcomes. Diversity encourages an understanding and acceptance of each other.
